Available Fuels

Bernville Quality Fuels offers a wide variety of reliable fuel delivery services including:

Heating Oil

Oil heat offers homeowners a safe, dependable alternative to other home comfort options, and millions of Americans are enjoying its benefits and efficiency. Today’s modern oil heating equipment is typically 85% to 95% efficient and new oil heat technology also generates heat and hot water faster than older systems with excellent heat distribution throughout your home.

The efficiency of new burners means that oil heat produces very little smoke or combustion discharge. Though electric heat may produce no emissions at your home, the power plants which make the electricity may produce significant amounts of combustion by-products.

In terms of convenience, there’s no need to worry about natural gas pressure drops, pipeline breaks, or electrical outages. On-site storage gives homeowners added peace-of-mind. Heating oil is also non-explosive: a match dropped into a pool of oil will simply go out.

Kerosene

Kerosene is a combustible hydrocarbon liquid. As a product, it has historically been used for a variety of purposes, in heating, lighting, cooking, transportation and entertainment. It is made from the fractional distillation of petroleum, and its clean burning characteristics allow it to maintain a high heat output.

While kerosene fuel is widely used for powering jet-engine aircraft, it also has many domestic uses. It can be used as an efficient and economical alternative for heating or lighting a home or business, provides heat for portable camping stoves, and can be used as a heat source during power outages. Additionally, kerosene can be used as a cleaning solvent,  lubricant and pesticide. Undoubtedly, kerosene is a very versatile liquid. Most of our customers use kerosene for mobile home or shop heat.

Diesel Fuel for On-Road or Off-Road Use

Diesel fuel is required for diesel engine vehicles, and the price charged includes both state and federal road taxes. Diesel fuel is also used in a variety of off-road engine applications such as aircraft, locomotives, marine vessels and recreational vehicles. It is also used in construction, logging, mining, agricultural and lawn & garden maintenance equipment. Diesel fuel can also be found in generators, pumps, compressors and welding equipment.

Our diesel fuel includes detergent and lubricant additives that may not be included in fuel delivered by other suppliers.

Gasoline

Gasoline is delivered as a supplement to our diesel fuel service, providing additional value to our agricultural and commercial customers that also use gasoline for traditional vehicles, equipment, and generators. We deliver 87, 89 and 93 octane gasoline.
